This is the first level of a game concept that lets you return to the house from Slenderman: the Game (2011), in an attempt to find out what happened.
Experience what it's like to be a live-streaming hiker for 5 minutes. Physically open and shut doors while exploring an abandoned house. Read notes and eat the pickled foods of the family that abandoned it. You'll have to avoid violent entities that are drawn to it, and may have a way to fight back if you look carefully... Oh and you can take a nap if you get tired.
How long is it?
It takes most people anywhere from 20-60 minutes to explore the house and solve a riddle. There is no ending, but there are some simple puzzles and rewards(?) in the house.
Partial Gamepad Support
You can switch to gamepad controls in the options (you must hit apply afterwards). However, it's buggy. Remapping doesn't seem to work. Dragging doors open is buggy (if controls freeze from this, open and close the inventory). Press Y/triangle to use the flashlight instead of F. I'm sorry! It's baaarely playable like this and you may have to switch back. Keyboard+Mouse is highly recommended.
Note for Streamers
The first couple of minutes in the game have a fake chat overlay in the upper right! This will go away as you progress. It could be an opportunity to trick your own chat, or you can put them in the lower right. The lower right shows ammunition and item descriptions.

Food/Sleep deprivation give debuffs to stamina and health regen but don't kill the player. Items _outside_ of the house respawn daily at dawn in random drops at 4 POIs, only one is marked on the map because it was visible by satellite to the player character.
If you want to see how long you can survive, note that you must stay in/around the house at night to anger maskies, it'll be too easy if you hide in the forest. Unleashing the "doppleganger" (it doesn't reappear) will max out AI aggression, but it should increment over time without it.
At this point the underlying code and scenes setup is too much of a mess to build on properly without restructuring most of it, but I'd like to share it with you in this playable state. I hope you enjoy it!
